Teddy Swims and GIVĒON just claimed the top spot on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart with their soulful duet “Are You Even Real.”
The track jumped from No. 3 to No. 1 after a 17% increase in radio plays last week.
Thanks to that momentum, it was crowned “Greatest Gainer” on the chart dated April 26.
Released through Swims INT/Warner, the smooth collab replaced Muni Long’s “Superpowers,” which slid to No. 3.
This marks Teddy Swims’ second No. 1 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart.
His debut smash, “Lose Control,” ruled the chart for three weeks in June 2024.
“Lose Control” also dominated Pop Airplay, Radio Songs, and ended 2024 as the Hot 100 year-end champ.
Swims now joins a short list of artists who hit No. 1 with their first two Adult R&B entries this decade.
He stands alongside The Bonfyre, Tems, and October London.
For GIVĒON, “Are You Even Real” delivers his first No. 1 on this chart and fifth overall entry.
His previous high was “Like I Want You,” which peaked at No. 7 in early 2021.
GIVĒON’s latest solo track, “Twenties,” is also buzzing — holding steady at No. 9 with a 4% radio boost.
Beyond Adult R&B, “Are You Even Real” is gaining on other charts too.
It climbs to No. 9 on Rhythmic Airplay and No. 16 on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.
On Billboard’s Radio Songs chart, it rises to No. 41 with 16.7 million weekly impressions.
With this powerful pairing, Teddy Swims and GIVĒON prove that smooth, emotional R&B still dominates the airwaves.
