Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive has returned with their first new music in three years, unveiling the high-energy single “Sacred.” The release (May 8) arrives just ahead of the group’s upcoming North American tour, signaling their re-entry into the international metal scene after a notable hiatus.

“Sacred” showcases Parkway Drive’s signature sound—heavy riffs, dynamic vocals, and anthemic structure—and marks the band’s latest studio effort since their 2022 album, *Darker Still*. The new track is now available on all major streaming platforms.

The release coincides with Parkway Drive’s upcoming headlining tour across North America, set to begin in June 2025. The tour will feature supporting acts The Devil Wears Prada, The Amity Affliction and Alpha Wolf. The 25-date run kicks off in West Palm Beach, FL and includes stops in major markets such as New York, California, Texas, and Georgia before concluding in North Carolina.

This will be Parkway Drive’s first North American tour since 2022, during which they celebrated the release of *Darker Still* with a global performance schedule. Known for their intense live shows and dedicated fan base, the band’s return is expected to draw strong attendance, particularly after the extended gap between releases.

Tour tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 28, with a number of presale options available that started on Tuesday, February 25. The band has not yet confirmed whether “Sacred” will be part of a forthcoming album project.

For metal enthusiasts and fans of Parkway Drive, the return of new music and a full-scale tour signals a major moment in the 2025 heavy music calendar. Full tour dates and ticket information are available on Parkway Drive’s official website.
