K-pop-inspired girl group KATSEYE is set to release their debut EP, *Beautiful Chaos*, on June 14. The announcement comes as the group continues to build momentum following their formation through the HYBE and Geffen Records reality competition series, *The Debut: Dream Academy*.
*Beautiful Chaos* will showcase a new musical direction for the six-member global group, combining pop, R&B, and electronic elements. The EP features six tracks, including the lead single “Debut,” which the group first performed at the iHeartRadio KIIS FM Wango Tango festival on June 1.
KATSEYE consists of members from the United States, Switzerland, South Korea, and other countries, reflecting a diverse international lineup. Since their formation was finalized in 2023, the group has been in intensive training and production in preparation for their official debut. Their fan base, built through the reality show and growing social media presence, has eagerly anticipated their first official release.
The group is part of a larger initiative by HYBE and Geffen Records to establish a global girl group that blends K-pop’s training system with Western music industry practices. This cross-cultural approach aims to reach a broad audience worldwide, positioning KATSEYE as a potential trailblazer in the international pop market.
Pre-orders for *Beautiful Chaos* are now live across streaming platforms and retail sites. The group is expected to embark on a promotional campaign throughout the summer, including media appearances and live performances.
With *Beautiful Chaos*, KATSEYE aims to introduce their unique sound and identity to a global audience, marking a significant step in their emergence as a new act on the global pop stage.
