Fuji Rock Festival 2025 is officially returning to Naeba Ski Resort in Yuzawa-cho, Niigata Prefecture. The event will run from Friday, July 25, through Sunday, July 27. This marks the 26th year of the festival at this iconic mountain location.
Day 1 will feature Fred again.. as the headliner. Vulfpeck takes over on Day 2. Both acts are performing in Japan for the first time. For Vulfpeck, this is one of only three announced shows in 2025. Vampire Weekend headlines Day 3, returning to Fuji Rock after a three-year break.
The festival spans four kilometers and hosts more than 200 acts each year. Fans can expect stages of all sizes, from massive main arenas to intimate tents. Music lovers will experience a diverse lineup that spans genres, countries, and generations.
Japanese Artists Set to Perform
Notable Japanese acts include Ichiko Aoba, Answer to Remember, BRAHMAN, Creepy Nuts, and DYGL. Also on the list: EGO-WRAPPIN’, Hitsujibungaku, kanekoayano, Kimishima Ohzora Gasso Keitai, jo0ji, MIYAVI, and Otoboke Beaver. RADWIMPS, Shintaro Sakamoto, Suchmos, Vaundy, and Tatsuro Yamashita are also confirmed.
Global Lineup Brings Worldwide Talent
International artists include Balming Tiger, Barry Can’t Swim, and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso. Other names: Confidence Man, Ezra Collective, Faye Webster, Four Tet, James Blake, Haim, HYUKOH, and Perfume Genius. Fans will also see performances by Royel Otis, Sunset Rollercoaster, The Hives, and Tycho.
Recent additions include Joy Anonymous, Us, Ginger Root, Jane Remover, YHWH Nailgun, and Little Simz. The iconic ROUTE 17 Rock’n’Roll ORCHESTRA will return with guests Kumiko Yamashita, Hiroto Komoto, Gen Kugiya, Liam Ó Maonlaí, and Us.
Ticket Info and Special Events
Three-day passes cost 59,000 yen (approx. $413 USD). One-day tickets are 25,000 yen ($175 USD). Friday night-only tickets are available for 16,000 yen ($112 USD). Under-22 one-day tickets are priced at 18,000 yen ($126 USD).
