Ed Sheeran just announced his 2026 Oceania tour. He shared the news on Instagram on July 22. The tour is called the LOOP Tour and will run from January to March 2026. It includes eleven stadium shows in Australia and New Zealand.
Sheeran promised fans a new stage, tricks, songs, and classic hits. His first shows will be in New Zealand. He will play in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. After that, he heads to Australia for stadium shows in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide.
This will be Sheeran’s first visit to Australia and New Zealand since early 2023. Back then, he broke attendance records in Melbourne. Across two shows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, he played to 217,500 fans. Those shows surpassed Eminem’s 2019 record of 80,708 fans per show.
The LOOP Tour arrives two months before his eighth album release. His new album, Play, comes out on September 12, 2026. That is just days after his Mathematics Tour ends in Germany.
Fans have expected this announcement for months. In May, Sheeran hinted at 2026 plans on Instagram. He said, “Oz/NZ top of next year, then Latam, then USA.”
Here are the LOOP Tour dates:

Jan. 21 – Wellington
Jan. 24 – Christchurch

Feb. 13 & 14 – Sydney
