Sabrina Carpenter Unleashes Puppy-Powered Tracklist Reveal for “Man’s Best Friend”

Sabrina Carpenter is redefining album rollouts with her upcoming LP, Man’s Best Friend, out August 29 via Island Records. Instead of a traditional reveal, she enlisted a golden retriever puppy and dedicated fans to share tracks. This approach combined adorable visuals with fan engagement, creating major buzz.

On July 23, Carpenter introduced track 12, “Goodbye,” featuring fan Mariah holding the puppy. Her caption read, “track #12 is ‘Goodbye’ but mariah is helping us say hello to our tracklist reveal.” Two days later, she revealed track 11, “House Tour,” with fan Neriah and the same golden retriever. She captioned, “neriah & a golden = home sweet home. track #11 is ‘House Tour.’”

Both posts quickly drew hundreds of thousands of likes. Fans loved the heartwarming rollout strategy. Next, Carpenter amplified reactions on Twitter, reposting @overdosedontun’s excited post. The user wrote, “omggg sabrina asked me to reveal track 11 ‘House Tour’ from Man’s Best Friend !!!” Carpenter urged fans to rally behind “Track 11 stans rise.”

Her comedic timing and direct fan interaction keep the rollout fresh and authentic. Carpenter’s following now exceeds five million on Instagram. Her new album continues the momentum from Short n’ Sweet, which topped the Billboard 200 for four weeks in 2024.

“Manchild,” the album’s lead single released June 5, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It marked her second-ever chart-topper. Fans can preorder Man’s Best Friend in various formats, including a Jacob Rochester–painted picture disc. The artwork depicts Carpenter beside a suited figure in a surreal scene, nodding to the album’s playful canine theme.

With puppies, fans, and comedic flair, Carpenter’s album rollout proves she knows how to keep listeners hooked.
