The American Music Awards 2025 are right around the corner. Hosted by the iconic Jennifer Lopez, this year’s show airs live on Memorial Day, May 26, from Las Vegas. With big names like Kendrick Lamar leading the pack, fans everywhere are eager to make their votes count.
The AMAs are completely fan-voted, which means your voice matters. Here’s everything you need to know about how to vote for your favorite artists in the 2025 American Music Awards.
Ways To Vote for The American Music Awards
There are two official ways to cast your vote. First, you can head over to VoteAMAs.com. The website lets you vote quickly and easily for every category. All it takes is a few clicks to support your favorite stars.
Second, you can vote through Instagram. Go to the AMAs’ official profile and find the pinned “VOTE HERE” post. Leave a comment using the specific hashtag for the artist and category. Each nomination has a unique hashtag, so make sure to use the correct one.
Only one hashtag is allowed per comment. If you’re voting for multiple artists or categories, comment separately for each. Also, your Instagram account must be public. Private accounts won’t have their votes counted.
Fans can vote up to 25 times per day, per method, for every category. That means you can vote 25 times on the website and 25 times on Instagram—every day. However, on special Turbo Days—April 29, May 6, and May 13—you can vote 50 times using each method.
Instagram and web voting close at 11:59 p.m. PT on Thursday, May 15. There’s one exception: “Collaboration of the Year” and “Social Song of the Year” stay open until 5:30 p.m. PT on show day, May 26. These categories also include two bonus Turbo Days on May 20 and May 26.
